The Sapa Culture and Tourism Week 2009 will be held in Sapa Dist in the northern province of Lao Cai, from April 30 to May 3.

A diverse range of activities welcoming visitors will be held during the week, including the Love Market in the town and the Cloud Festival on Ham Rong Mountain, which spotlights the traditional culture of the Mong, Dao, Giay, Tay and Xa Pho ethnic minority groups.

In addition, a photography exhibition entitled “Sapa – The land and its people”, a musical programme and the Muong Hoa culinary art fair will also be held on the occasion.
